Would You Like To Help?:

You can help in many ways.

1) Please help injured or abused reptiles by contacting NEARR, your local animal control or finding a professional to assist with taking injured reptiles immediately to a vet.

2) Please help educate those interested in purchasing reptiles as pets. Many people do not realize that reptiles need a lot of space and a great deal of time and attention.

3) You can help native reptiles by leaving them alone in the wild unless they are hurt.

4) You can join NEARR as a contributing member for less then a penny a day. This gives you first chance at any herp in need of rescue and perhaps a warm fuzzy feeling deep inside for helping to support NEARR so that we can help all of the unwanted reptiles in need of rescue. 5) NEARR pays for veterinary care of injured reptiles. This is very expensive and donations are always welcome. NEARR is supported entirely through the generosity of the public. We are not currently a 501(c)(3) charity thus donations are not yet tax deductible, but the paperwork is underway.
